OUR MISSION & MANDATE

"To bring the Living Word to those living in the world"

Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel message, the Good News of Jesus Christ, to all who will listen. To proclaim His truth and word not only to the lost, but also to the Church which needs to understand and take to heart prophecy, apologetics and sound biblical teaching.

"The fire shall ever be burning... it shall never go out."

Our mandate is to stand like our namesake... as a Watchfire in these end times. We stand with the fire of the Holy Spirit upon the altar of our heart, with the charge that it shall never go out (Leviticus 6:13). We stand as Watchmen on the wall, ready to sound the alarm, and always being a light, preparing the Church and this world for what is...and what is to come.

OUR MESSAGE

Jesus Christ is the Messiah, our Redeemer, and our only Salvation. We are living in the End Times!

The times in which we now live have an expiration date. While eternity awaits all those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord & Savior in truth and in their heart, God has given us prophecy to unveil how He will change this current reality into the promise of Heaven... how He will enter time & space to accomplish all He has promised His people.

The Church has strayed from its primal focus & message. We seek to strengthen and encourage Christian brothers & sisters to proclaim the Gospel to all who will listen and to present the living Gospel in their lives, their speech, and their professions. The time will come when persecution will drown out this message and itching ears will want nothing to do with truth...but today is not that time and so we must serve in our co-mission to be salt & light to a world that every day loses more of its savor and slips willingly into darkness.

"be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear." (1 Peter 3:15)

"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. " (2 Timothy 4:2)

OUR BELIEFS

THE BIBLE (SCRIPTURE)

We believe the Bible is the inspired word of GOD, inerrant and infallible.

(2 Timothy 3:16-17)

GOD (THE TRINITY)

We believe in one GOD; eternally existing as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, John 14:16-17, 1 John 5:7)

JESUS CHRIST

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, born of the Virgin Mary; that Jesus is fully man, and fully God; that Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead; that He ascended into Heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father. (Matthew 3:17, Mark 14:62, Colossians 2:9, Philippians 2:5-8)

SIN

We believe that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD, and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation.

(Romans 3:23, Acts 3:19, John 14:6)

OBEDIENCE & MINISTRY

We believe that Holiness is GOD’s standard for living.

(John 14:15, 1 Thessalonians 4:7)

We believe that the ministry of evangelism and discipleship is a responsibility of all followers of Jesus Christ.

PRAYER & MINISTRY

We believe that we must dedicate ourselves to prayer, to the service of our Lord, to His authority over our lives, and to our co-mission.

HEALING

We believe that healing is a privilege provided for all through Christ.

(Psalm 103:3, Matthew 10:8, 1 Peter 2:24)

BAPTISM IN WATER & FIRE

We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.(Matthew 28:19, Acts 8:36-38)

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, evident in the gifts of the Spirit.

(Acts 2:1-33, 1 Corinthians 12:1-14,27-30)

COMMUNION

We believe in the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper.

(1 Corinthians 11:23-29)

SANCTITY OF LIFE

We believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end; and that we must have concern for the physical and spiritual needs of our fellowmen.
(Psalm 139:13; Isaiah 49:1; Jeremiah 1:5; Matthew 22:37-39; Romans 12:20-21; Galatians 6:10)

SECOND COMING of JESUS CHRIST

We believe in the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus Christ, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living Saints.
